Most tours go to the Changling at the Ming Tombs, but the Dingling is, in some ways, more interesting as it is the only one of the thirteen that has been excavated and you can descend right into the tomb chambers. Equally the slightly less well-known Mutianyu section of the Great Wall is by far the best of the ones close to Beijing to visit: manageable climbing even in the midday heat and fabulous views.
Our driver Mr Shi was also exemplary and I have no hesitation in recommending both Angela in particular and this company in jack.
